Subscription & Device Access Control

1. Introduction​

The POS subscription system aims to enhance security to ensure that you can access the POS system only through the devices which are included in your subscription plan. Your subscription pricing will depend on the type of device(s) you choose.

2. How Does It Work?​

Your subscription plan determines which devices you can use to access the POS system. There are four types of supported device access:

  • Web Browsers – Access the POS system from a desktop or laptop, via web browsers, and through all other devices assigned to the same user.
  • Mobile Devices – Use the POS system through smart phones.
  • Tablet Devices – Use the system via tablets.
  • POS Terminal Devices – Dedicated POS terminal devices for professional use.

When you subscribe, you select which of these devices you want to use. The system will verify your device when you log in and block access from any unauthorized device.

3. Key Features of the Subscription System​

Device-Based Access Control​

  • You can only use the POS system on the devices included in your subscription.
  • If your plan allows only mobile access, you cannot log in from a web, tablet, or POS terminal.
  • A web access subscription plan grants the user access via web and all other devices.

Pricing Based on Device Type​

  • Subscription costs vary depending on the device type.
  • The total price of your subscription is calculated based on selected features + device pricing.

Multi-Device Subscription Option​

  • You can choose one or multiple devices for access.
  • Businesses can enable or disable multiple device access based on their needs.

4. Subscription Pricing Breakdown​

Your subscription price is calculated based on:

  1. Tenant Features – The features and modules you select.
  2. Device Pricing – The cost of the device(s) you choose.

5. Logging in to the POS System​

For Mobile & Tablet Users​

  • The POS Mobile App automatically sends your device type and ID when logging in.
  • If your subscription does not include mobile access, you won’t be able to log in.

For Web Users​

  • Web access is only available if included in your subscription.
  • A web access subscription plan grants the user access via web and all other devices.

For POS Terminal Users​

  • POS terminals require a valid subscription to function with terminal ID associated with the user.
  • Only registered terminals will be granted access.

6. Important Notes​

  • You must choose the correct device(s) when subscribing.
  • If you need to change your device type, you must update your subscription plan.
  • Access will be denied from any unauthorized device.
  • For businesses, enabling multiple device access is optional.
