User Interface for Service Providers

The user interface (UI) of the POS system is designed to be intuitive and easy to navigate for service providers such as salons, government offices, and repair shops. Here’s a breakdown of the key components that service staff and managers will interact with:

1. Service List (Central Panel)

  • Description: This panel displays all the available services offered by the business. Each service is accompanied by:
    • Service Name
    • Price
    • Service Image
  • Interaction:
    • Staff can click on any service to select it and add it to the customer’s order.
    • Search bar at the top allows users to quickly search for specific services.

2. Service Categories (Top Navigation)

  • Description: Services are organized into categories such as:

3. Order Summary (Left Panel)

4. Total Billing (Bottom of Left Panel)

    • Taxes
    • Final total amount to be paid

    • The system automatically updates the total as services are added or removed.
    • This section includes a payment button to proceed to checkout.

5. Payment (Bottom of Left Panel)

  • Description: Staff can click the Payment button to complete the transaction. Available payment methods include:
    • Cash
    • Credit/Debit Card
    • Split
    • Pay in Link

    • Staff clicks the payment button, chooses the appropriate payment method, and completes the transaction.

6. Customer Details (Top-Left Corner)

  • Description: Allows staff to enter the customer’s name or select from existing customers. This helps in:
    • Tracking customer orders
    • Managing customer preferences

    • Staff can either select an existing customer from the dropdown or enter a new customer’s details.

7. Additional Functions (Right Side Panel)

  • Open Session: Allows staff to open or close their shift/session.
  • Settings Icon: Provides access to system settings like staff logins, interface configurations, etc.
  • End Session: Allows for ending the current session or shift.
