Items
Overview
The Items facilitates efficient management of product listings within your inventory. This feature enables adding new products, editing existing entries, and deleting products from the inventory. Detailed information about each product can be maintained, including images, pricing, stock levels, and more.
Adding New Products
Click on the 'New Product' button to open the product entry form.
Input the required product details:
- Name: The name of the product.
- Sales Price and Purchase Price: Set the retail and cost price.
- Category and Tax: Assign a category and applicable tax rate.
- Description: Provide a brief description of the product.
- SKU, Barcode, and Unit: Enter SKU, barcode, and unit of measurement.
- Warehouse: Select the warehouse where the product will be stocked.
- Opening Stock and Reorder Level: Specify the initial stock quantity and the reorder threshold.
Optionally, upload an image of the product.
Click 'Add Product' to save the new entry.
Editing Existing Products
- To edit a product, click the edit icon (pencil) next to the product entry on the 'All Products' screen.
- The 'Edit' pop-up window appears where you can update any of the product's details.
- Modify fields as necessary and click 'Save' to apply changes.
Deleting Products
- Click the delete icon (trash can) next to the product you wish to remove.
- Confirm the deletion to remove the product from the inventory permanently.
